Anyone else having issues installing the client in 2015? I have had issues with the standard version.

I have 6 clients on Sage 2015 and haven't had any issues. What kind of problem are you having?

I have had errors at the very end, but if I run again as a repair all seems to be OK.

In both instances, the install fails at the end. Running repair doesn't produce any errors but the startup is not on the system menu. After un-installing, I ran the msi file and it loaded. Weird. After a while using autorun, the msi and setup with uninstalls in-between, it finally installs.

Yeah, that sounds like my upgrade this week. Client had very high security on the workstations (for no good reason).

Make sure all windows updates are installed

I agree security settings and Windows has some effect, but why does it work after a couple of attempts? Not logical.... First time I've had this problem and not my first rodeo........ Wonder what Sage did to the 2015 install routine?

YES. I just did an upgrade yesterday, and on all 4 workstations, encountered ""The PVX Object init failed"". Took 2 or 3 uninstall/re-installs to get it done.

I got the PVX Object init failed message yesterday. Logged on as administrator, uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked.

One of my associates had the PVX Object Init message and I ran the good old PVXCOM.exe and it went through. I wonder if that helped at all or if the reinstall was all it needed. Interesting.

PS.. Wish is was!

I tried the PVXON.exe on one of the workstations and it wasn't the answer.
