    Anyone else experiencing random PDF issues? Sage 100 Advanced 4.5.4 (I think that's the update level) I had a customer contact me today saying she was getting an error when trying to print a manual check register. I logged onto their terminal server and had no issues. I then connected to her workstation, verified the Sage PDF Converter port was correct, then tried printing an AP Invoice Data Entry register with no problems. So it's not the converter. Still couldn't update the MC register. I finally suggested she reboot her workstation and lo and behold, it then worked. However, about 10 minutes later she was in another company and got a similar error when printing an AP Invoice register. She had one other company she hadn't tested so she tested that one, which worked, then went back to the one with the error and it then worked. WTH? Is/are there file(s) with locks that may not be getting cleared? She's blaming it on gremlins in the system. I could let her go with that but a more logical reason would be helpful. Thoughts?

    AV programs can cause issues that appear similar to locked files. Has anything changed with her AV?

    I encounter that same issue on a periodic basis with my office installation. I am running WIN 7 Pro. I will sometimes attempt to update that register only to get the error. I start over again, get the error. Exit MAS (200) and restart. Sometimes that will clear the error, sometimes not. Rebooting the WS is the ultimate solution. V4.5.7.0 is the release level. Doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason to the issues. I am running MSFT Security Essentials.
