Anyone else experiencing discrepancies between software maintenance fees charged and the detail (broken down by module)? The excel spreadsheet Sage submitted doesn't tie out no one I spoke with is capable of figuring out why.

I stopped trying to calculate them.

The variance isn't that large, but trying to submit details to customers that want a breakdown... and the details don't agree to the Sage invoice... Well, it's just embarrassing.

I agree - I'd like to provide the details and do an analysis to be sure that they're still using everything that they pay for. I've just sort of thrown my hands up because getting that info and/or explanations from Sage is very hit or miss. Note: I tell customers that absolute truth about how difficult it is. I don't view myself as Sage's customer service department.

I see this as a chance to distinguish myself from Sage. It shows that the end user and the consultant are allies because we are suffering just the same.

Hey, Brian, glad to see you in the group. Actually, I think the reseller suffers more because a great deal of our time is spent banging our head against the Sage/Atlas wall. The end user doesn't know any better. I do like the client to ""dangle in the wind"" a bit so that they continue to come to me first. In that respect, I do encourage them to use their five support cases to gain a better understanding.

I salute you Brian. At one time I wanted to do the review of modules used as well.

Thanks, @ThereseLogeais and @JeffSchwenk Unintended benefit: Sage calculates the price and I am no longer responsible for any portion of the negotiation.
