Anyone done imports into TimeCard? Trying to get the punch in and punch out and it shows it as importing but when you pull up the record it's blank. I have TimeClock enabled.

Found out the problem. 1 - Had the start/stop time in the wrong format - obviously my glasses need updating because I didn't notice it was in decimal format in the TC file but time format in my input file - DOH! 2nd issue, dating back to 3.71 - there is no TimeCard perform logic to write to the TC2 (sort) file. You have to manually perform a rebuild sort files after importing. (#%*&#$)

We still have a couple clients rebuilding the sort files too.

Couldn't one write a PVX script that would execute the rebuild for you from the Import? Alnoor??????

That would be great Jeff because we are still just rebuilding the sorts as well.

Will wait to hear from Alnoor or possibly another PVX scripting guru.

It would need some research but these are 2 ways: 1. Modify existing TCWVIP program (T/C perform logic) to include WRITEs to TC2 and any other related sort files (maybe TC4). It could also format the start/stop time as decimal but let's not go there. 2. Have already created independent auto-run programs to let people Rebuild A/R Sorts, S/O Sorts, B/M Sorts (they run it independently at night unattended - legacy versions only not Bus Framework). Prolly same could be done here so special version of full or partial Rebuild TC Sorts is kicked off when import job completes.
