@Lourdes Sobrino - I don't know if this is of any help and whether you want to experiment using your own Gmail account but I'll mention this anyway.
We have some some non-Sage programming that uses a non-Sage interpreter called PvxPlus a.ka. PxPlus. Instead of pvxwin32.exe it's pvxplus.exe. It's been working for many years including sending emails regularly via a Gmail account. A few weeks ago it stopped working. "Invalid authentication" error was occurring. This is the high level of what was done to fix it:
1. Changed the regular Gmail pswd and turned on 2FA.
2. Created an app specific password naming pvxplus.exe as the app. We could no longer find option for "allow less secure apps".
3. Change our programming to use the app specific password. This worked! Also since it's an app pswd, we were not subject to 2FA challenges. There is no separate 2FA prompt.
Instructions here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833?hl=en
Based on the email app we use, which is NOT Sage / ChilkatMail, we had the equivalent of this for Company Maint / Email tab:
Authentication: Basic
SMTP Address: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465
SMTP Encryption: Try TLS first then SSL
User ID: your Gmail email address
Pswd: app specific pswd you would create for pvxwin32.exe (or pvxwin64.exe or pvxcom.exe if using BOI)
Note: Some customer IT departments will consider this less secure than oAuth. You can tell them it's a stopgap until Sage in their next PU makes the changes to support oAuth correctly (I read that somewhere but can't find it currently).
HOPE this helps!

Sage has this KB article which goes into how to setup Gmail for OAuth.
A few months ago I provided feedback on this article that they should change the title to reflect that it's about Gmail/Google to make it easier to find. Obviously that suggestion went to the same place where all other Sage suggestions go.
