Anyone brave enough to install v2017 yet? I need to upgrade a fairly vanilla client from v2014.

Call us old school, but we still like the product to season a little bit before serving. By January the version will have been officially released for a couple of months. If we have a vanilla client that wants to take the leap before then, eyes open, we will oblige.

installed 2017 in new instance on existing workstation. Did not migrate data. Created the same user ID. The task windows from 2016 were in place in 2017! Favorites and web content all showed up. So how is this data shared between versions?

Workstation install path is likely the same.

Sage 100c creates a ""Sage 100"" folder in My Documents. That folder is used by both 2016 and 2017 for user settings for 100c. file extension .json

is it one of those folders that you can delete and it will recreate itself on the next login @alanniergarth?

If you delete the folder it prompts you for your desired desktop - classic or standard - upon the next login. Your favorites and settings must be recreated. It does create the new folder. And it is shared by 2016 if both versions are on the same workstation.
