    Anybody know of a way to have Sales Order Entry default to a quote as opposed to a standard order? I've got a customer that can't seem to train their sales team to select quote from the drop down.

    Set the preference using the Defaults button in SO Entry.

    :-) I agree ""sometimes the simple stuff is overlooked"" I had this same question...after testing it myself (v4.5) there is a new message pop up asking if you want to use for future Order Entry sessions! I don't remember that is previous releases...yeah!!!
