Anybody know of a quick way to copy many mas200 tables over to sql without buying an expensive tool? Have a client migrating off of mas200 doing some complex queries and ODBC is running way too slow. Wants to move the tables over to sql and do the queries from there, but its slow. Perhaps somebody has a large sql statement text file he can use etc to work from. Coming from version 4.2 I think.

How many tables involved? Our tried and true method is Access PTQ and select queries. Using Access PTQ's and Crystal is about 10 times faster than just straight Crystal. Select queries work well with PTQ's. We then use Crystal to pull data from the Select query table. Much faster than the Crystal ODBC dog. If you have a lot of MAS tables to deal with, give Bali Dan a shout on Skype. He has a ""Shadow"" database in Access that has all the tables setup. He is 14 hours ahead of us on the east coast so he should be getting up in a couple more hours.....................

You might create a linked server in SQL for MAS90 - I still do not know of a quick way to pull a more than one table at once - but doing 10 tables should not take more than 30 min to write the queries etc.
