    Anybody know if the chat function that used to exist in MAS is actually still in the software or came back in 4.4? If so, where might it be lurking?

    No Chat that I'm aware of, but the Broadcast is still there in the Master Console.

    I knew they'd left in Broadcast, but one of my clients indicated that they thought Chat was coming back or rather came back in 4.4...but I hadn't seen it or heard anything about its return. So, thought I'd check with you all.

    No chat was discontinued because there are so many instant messenger applications on the market that Sage didn't want to spend R&D time on something that was already out there.
