Anybody have a client using Sage Payroll Full Service? Client's payroll person is retiring and they want to outsource their payroll now. Would you recommend this product?

Me too. I have a client with a new controller and he wants to outsource the Payroll function.

Last February, I spoke with the general manager of that division and was impressed with the conversation. The big question (as it is with Aatrix) is how solid is the interface with Sage. I think it is worth checking out unless it is also on Sage NA list of putting their products down the shitter as it seems the direction that many are headed....

I spoke to them when the product was first introduced around 6 or 7 months ago. They did not have their act together then. They did a demo. The payroll looked good, not sure about the integration as they were still working on it. The HR side of it was almost non-existent although again, they said they are working on it. Ended up going with ADP

Thanks everyone. My client doesn't really like change or being on the cutting edge so I advised them it was not the route they want to go at this time.

Honestly, at this point I wouldn't recommend Sage anything. Maybe this is sour grapes or maybe burned once too many times. Either way, I'd point them to an IBM type solution like ADP. Remember, the expression ""no one ever gets fired for buying IBM"". The same principle applies.

Any updates or added experience to share? We have a client that hopes to outsource...
