    Do you mean it never finishes or that it does but nothing has changed?

    That's a bug on that version - scared the hell out of me when I did my first 4.3 update.

    @ThereseLogeais I don't think it ever finishes.

    How about installing SU 22 to see if they fixed it. I don't have the list of fixes handy.

    This is from 4.30.1: DE 82892 PER 102666 Resolution ID 493034 During conversion from 3.71, the Recalculate Account Balances utility now processes. The utility can also now be run from the G/L Utilities. Here's the KB on it; https://partners.sagenorthamerica.com/irj/go/km/docs/sageKM/Sage%20MAS%2090%20and%20200/Gated%20Customers/Warr_Svc_Support%20Plan/493034.html

    I had an issue on 4.05 where if you have five years of Detail Ledger (2007-2012) but Fiscal Year Maintenance has prior years (1995-2006), the Recalculate Account Balances would wipe out the first (2007) Beginning Balances. As a result, I always delete those prior years from GL_FiscalYear and GL_FiscalYearDetail files. I head that was fixed and no longer necessary, but I have not tested. Also if posting were made to a future year (like 2812), the Recalculate Account Balances calculates through that last year (creating missing Period Records) and the rebuild can take a loooong time. So I try to get rid of those future postings before I recalculate.

    Especially when there are 90 of them.

    Is 90 outdated? Should we rename ourselves 100 Minds, 100 Premium Minds or 100 Premium Minds in the Cloud? 90 does link us back to the nostalgic days of the past and better memories.

    I don't know. I think the 90 Minds name doesn't necessarily tie you to a product. Remember when MAS*90 was an acronym that meant something? I don't, but I hear wonderful stories about it.

    I guess I need to learn to write with more apparent sarcasm . 90 Minds much better than 100 Minds. I'm just venting over the confusion in my installed base over Sage 100 vs MAS 90/200. Perhaps I should should teach customers that Sage 100 it is a new product. MAS 90 was discontinued and was replaced. Fortunately the user interface, database and functionality in Sage 100 didn't change from MAS 90.

    Not to mention it still has the same bugs and quirks.

    I still seems state of the art to me.
