Anybody else having issues with Adobe v10 and Paperless? I don't see anything on BOSS or the forums, but have a client reporting problems. Haven't seen anything mentioned by Sage anywhere either.

I am pretty sure that I did previously. So far as I can recall the workaround was to uninstall / reinstall a lower Adobe version. I think I also ran across a KB entry regarding this - but as you probably know the KB is sometimes not indexed the best.

Sorry false alarm -- here is what I was thinking of -- I think this one related to a customer who was trying to print to an Adobe file (as opposed to use of paperless) Q: After the version 4.20 upgrade , Debbie tries to print a GL report to her Adobe Acrobat Distiller (v5.xx) and it prints quickly but does not prompt her as to where to save the document. A: Found one KB entry which may not be exactly on point -seems to indicate incompatibility with version 5 (which is the version Debbie has) and v4.10 (assuming this would carry forward to v4.20) Resolution ID: 472331 ""Unable to print. This field name is not known"" when printing to Adobe Distiller Entry Type: Informational Product: Sage MAS 90 ERP, Sage MAS 200 ERP Application: Library Master Version Reported: 4.10 Subject: ""Unable to print. This field name is not known"" when printing to Adobe Distiller. Possible Resolution: Adobe Distiller 5 or earlier may be installed. Upgrade to Adobe Distiller 6. Note: Sage Software Customer Support is not responsible for assisting with the use of non-Sage Software products. For assistance, please see that product's Help for instructions, or contact their technical support department. Found a thread on Sagetalk where another user had the same issue and Sage support advised modifying any of the reports so that the ""No Printer"" box was checked.

That's was our fix as well. Just curious if there has been any mention to have it fixed in an upcoming Service Pack. I think v10 has been out for quite some time now.

Someone else reported an issue where the preview would not come up after printing. I think the error was ""file in use"". Looks as if the cure there was to go into role maintenance and give the ability to delete PDFs. May be totally unrelated but something to check.
