Sage 100

Any word on SAGE 100's 2013 941 release. Was wondering if anyone has heard from SAGE on this

It is ONLY the 18th. What is the rush? Sage thinks they have till the 5th of April. I would expect something to be popping by Friday?

Client forwarded this to me today, which says the update will be available the week of 3/25.

Of course, it only mentions a Vermont w/h change. Seriously?

Maybe they don't know the year on the 941 form changes......

I was talking to him about something else and he asked about payroll tax updates. He then added that he had received an email from Sage. ""Um, can you forward it to me, please??

But nothing about the 941? I think we all need a customer that will put a rule in their email that forwards us a copy of anything that comes from Sage. As much as we get soaked for being a partner, we should be treated like a customer. Then again, maybe not. I was in a friends tire store and a fellow came in and walked up to the counter. The counter person recognized him and said, ""You get the Brother-in-Law deal, right?"". The guy looked horrified and said ""No, No, please just screw me like you do everyone else."".

Pardon my French but this is bullshit for Sage to pass us by on stuff like this.

I'm going to be talking with Sage about getting onto the distribution list for all mailings related to Sage 100 - both customer and partner. Most likely we'll Evernote them. Stand by.

Just checked. Still no 941 update. Starting to get irritated........

Q2 TTU up on the Portal, but nothing about 941.

Just had a customer call me this morning about the 941 being incorrect. When I told him the update wasn't out yet, he said, ""Really?? What kind of software program did you sell us, anyway?"" He was joking but it DOES look bad.

Yep. I had an e-mail this morning as well. They are wondering why their 941 still says 2012. Can you say ""egg on face?"" This client will close their quarter before Monday. that's their 1st PR of the second quarter. I guess I'll just edit the RPT file.... ggggrrrrrrrr

Probably a bad idea to change the existing rpt file to say 2013. The 2013 form has been changed, adding line 5f. ""Section 3121(q) Notice and DemandTax due on unreported tips."" Until Sage releases their patch, I'll be using the fill in form that I downloaded from the IRS website.

If you can log in, Aatrix has the current 941 form.

The support home page has the following on it. 941 Form Changes for 2013 The IRS has released the final 941 form for 2013. We are currently working on the update. The update is scheduled to be released the week of March 25th. Please check back here then.

Sage 100 2013 PU2 list of files updated does include the PR941A.rpt and PR941P.rpt

That figures. is it backward compatible to 4.5? Thanks, Sage... :-P

I should have checked the 4.5.06 release notes but I didn't and I am not at the computer now

Why not use Aatrix to print the 941?

Good question why not. Sounds like this is the last year for 941 update anyways in the base software
