Any way to find out what the source RPT file is when the MAS90 system Report Manager won't allow you to edit that file (but it still does run from the menu).

Unable to access custom report task when going into Report Manager."" Customer barely remembers what day of the week it is so they're of no help in remembering what the report may have looked like as I page through any of their half zillion RPT files...

Export the report to PDF - the default file name is the Crystal Report name. Customer taught me this.

I have had some luck by previewing the report and then exporting it to PDF. At some point, it shows you the name of the .rpt file as the export file name. Then you are stuck doing some sort of search for that file name but at least you know what you are looking for.

Thanks - I thought I'd be smart and look for SY_Report Manager and that sorta works -- but it only gives a report ID...

Preview the report and export to rpt file and open it and see if there are indications of which one it is - database - properties etc. - go modify one in reports directory and put a text field at the top with a ""W"" for example and run the report in MAS and see if a W appears at the top then you know you have it.

Thanks everyone - exporting to PDF worked. Root cause on this (version 4.20) was customer saved the custom report into a folder outside of the REPORTS subfolder. MAS allowed her to add this to her menu but did not allow subsequent re-editing via Report Manager.
