Any way to change the reply to / from address to be different from the account address (setup in company maintenance) when sending paperless in Sage 100 ERP 2013 - latest PU? I note that Sage says that this is controlled by the ISP (in this case Gmail). Just want to be sure before I tell the user ""no"".

I alway have success in sending forms from a different e-mail when I click on the icon next to the delivery setting on the form, and ""change"" the default ""from"" to my own e-mail. The account sending the e-mail, in this image, myself, needs to be defined to allow the account set up in Company Maintenance to send e-mail on my behalf. I usually get their IT department to handle that part. I'm not using GMail (so maybe this does work in Gmail). LMK

Isn't the default 'from' address setup in paperless/setup/form maintenance? The company maintenance account address isn't used anywhere except for authentication. The 'from' address can then be changed on the fly as Madeline indicated above.

I think in some cases that's true. I'm not sure for all ISPs you can change the from email. For example this user has Gmail. They have the email login in company maintenance. The ""from"" is a different email (form maintenance). They tell me the from email is always the one in company maintenance. Sage KB seems to say that's the way it'll work with some ISP s.

That is correct Wayne. It is a security issue that some ISPs implement to reduce spoofing and Spam. Many also require a reverse DNS to be setup as well. Others like Windstream will allow any port 25 traffic (even unauthenticated) to pass as long as it comes from an internal network. Not sure about GMail though.
