Any SQL gurus among the membership or MCDBA recommendations? I have a customer with a 3rd party product running on SQL 2012 that is a resource hog and need to determine if it is a SQL set up or this 3rd party app issue. Let me know if you have availability or referral. Thanks.

I would be interested to connect with someone also. I just had a customer contract with a DBA remotely and they did the back up plan, maintenance plan and configuration settings to stop the resource hog stuff. I will share their information if you don't find a 90minder.

I'm have an old MCDBA (SQL 2000) and I could give it a shot, though my availability is pretty ugly for the next month.

I have a SQL guru in Atlanta. He's not a 90Minder but he has worked with Sage 100 and 300.

Thanks @AndrewHagenbachCPA - I've a couple resources now, but most importantly the 3rd party developer actually admitted they had a problem and worked on a resolution. It's not perfect yet but it is far better than it was.

Great to hear. It's tricky to tell whether it's program or SQL as it tends to hog resources itself if not configured right. Sounds like you are on the right track here.
