Any opinion on Document Management? I have been working with Altec but want opinions on other options.

I have a client using ACOM. If you are talking with Altec, be SURE client is not using MAC's for their non Sage users. My client found out AFTER giving money to Sage that the document management system does not work at all for MAC users (who needed to approve documents). Remember, all sales are final!

My recommendation is DSD's InstaDocs for less sophisticated document storage and retrieval (linked to Sage 100) or Altec for higher end needs, possibly requiring workflow. Sage has looked at InstaDocs and is crazy about it. They have hinted to us that they would love to fold it into Sage 100. You should check it out if you haven't already seen it.
