Any one else getting messages from SPS like this? We've had two instances. ALERT! Automatic Settlement Failure: Tuesday, April 23, 2013-Action Recommended On Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at approximately 11:00 pm EDT, Sage Payments identified a potential issue with automatic settlement. You may notice that your automatic settlement did not run on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 and you may still have transactions from April 22 and April 23 in your open batch. To prevent any delay in your funding, we recommend that you settle your batch manually.

Yes but it is for my test company.... I think something went wrong when they did the service over the weekend. Apparently they still have not fixed it.LOL I don't have any clients calling about it.

From my rep: It is a problem with the automatic batch settlement process and it is affecting customers that are using the Virtual Terminal for processing. The work around is for them to manually settle the batches. The IT staff is frantically trying to repair the problem. I apologize for the inconvenience ;-) If there are any end users you would like me to speak with, I would be happy to call them.

I have been getting these alerts for two days as well, and get two copies of each.

One of my customers just got this email (redacted) after asking me if I would manually close her batches. Thing is, I HADN'T done so yet! I am asking my rep if this means it's been fixed... Subject: CREDIT CARD AUTO-CLOSE RESULTS NAME : XXXXXXXXXXX MERCHANT ID : XXXXXXXXXX BATCH CLOSED AT: 4/24/2013 11:09:36 AM RESULT : BATCH 1 OF 1 CLOSED ITEM COUNT : 295 DEBIT VOLUME : $XXXXXX CREDIT VOLUME : $XXXXX NET VOLUME : $XXXXXXX

Another update from my rep: I know they are working through all accounts that would have been impacted and some batches are being closed throughout the day. Here is where you can get updates on the problem. https://support.sagepayments.com/link/portal/20000/20000/Article/706/Auto-Batch-Issue-Alert They have not posted an all clear message there yet. I would suggest the merchant closes the batch manually until the all clear message is posted.

This customer has a fair chunk of change going through SPS on a daily basis so when she got the notice yesterday, she was a little concerned but when she got it again today, she checked and found nothing had gone through since last Friday. In her words: ""If you could look in to it please YES I really can't go an entire week without having these funds deposited in to our account.
