Any MAS90 Work Order gurus out there to shed some light on this?. I have a client that has been using BOM production entry for Manufacturing and now want to convert to Work Order Processing. The issue is that they have been using misc charges for Labor and Overhead. Since Work Order doesn't support that we need to build it into the routings so the cost will be recorded n the Work order module. I have attached an example from the client. Has anyone gone thru this process before? .

Why not set up inventory items for labor and overhead and treat them like they were miscellaneous codes? Are they converting to WO for scheduling/job center control?

Is the client looking to enter the actual time spent on the work order? Also, are they aware of the additional data entry WO Processing requires over BOM Produciton Entry? The advantage I see of WO Processing over BOM is is the demand that is placed on components and availability of FGs. I have a client that uses WOs and BOM Production Entry. They just delete the WO after the BOM Production Entry is recorded.
