Any ideas on why a customer would get the ""you may need to recreate views manually"" message every day? SQL server is running fine, the password in CRM is correct, registry settings are correct, no security changes to SQL server. Once we do an IISRESET, CRM is as happy is a clam, but it doesn't seem to me like doing an IISRESET on a daily basis is not the way to go. There is an entry in the log about ""Class does not exist"" when the client can't log in, but like I said, IISRESET makes it all go away. #stumped

@PeterWolf: That's the article I looked at while we were troubleshooting yesterday, but then we had to do the IISRESET again today.

Questions that might help: 1. How long have they been using CRM? 2. Has the problem always been there? 3. If not, how long ago did the problem start manifesting? 4. Million dollar question: what has changed if was previously working? 5. What version of CRM? 6. When do they get the message - is it at login or when clicking something specific? 7. Do they have any customizations?

    1. For several years 2. No. 3. It started a few days ago. 4. Only thing that changed was an upgrade, but that was two weeks ago. 5. 7.1.d.2 6. At login 7. They have some custom fields that they added to the company screen and to the case screen, but it's pretty vanilla.

The team also suggested looking at the SQL log - is there anything going on there?

I did look in the SQL log, and I didn't see anything that caught my eye. When/if I connect with them tomorrow or Monday, I'll take a closer look. Thanks for your help. I appreciate your willingness to share.
