  • 1.  Any FAS Gurus out there?

    Customer is changing their Fiscal Year in Sage and will have a short year for Sept-Dec 2021.  They have FAS but it's not linked to Sage.  
    When I change the Fiscal Year setup in Sage, I'll have to reinitialize the Fiscal Year Setup to reset (ie: 2020 will now be Sept 2020 to Aug 2021 and 2021 will be Sept - Dec 2021).
    What do I do in FAS?  Do I fix the Fiscal Years there too?  Manually?
    How will FAS handle the short year?
    I did read the KB article but it didn't provide real good information and looking for some real life experience on this.
    Anybody done this type of thing?

    @alan niergarth ?  You might start an online chat with SFA support.  They have been pretty responsive and knowledgeable the couple times I have used it.  And best of all, you don't have to fill out a smartsheet.....​

    Honestly  it is not really something I have had to mess with, but just like in Sage 100 you can easily copy the company and give it a shot.
