Another question, because I'm just full of it today. Have a client using SI and they have an issue with SI crapping out when they try to drill down. They think they have too much data. Could be, but surely SI has been tested with some dang big stuff, hasn't it? Has anyone else had an issue with drill downs on big data files?

Check with @EricAnderson . He has been working with my client that is experiencing a very similar issuing. South Africa has been wrestling with it for a month. This client has a very large dataset also. Not sure if it is the same problem. Hopefully, @EricAnderson can add some insight. Here is what tech support from South Africa knows... Just follow-up on what we found. We tried to replicate the issue that you were having, but it was not happening for us. We have noted that this is could happen at any time during your normal working day and that to rectify the problem you have to close all other open excel documents and follow work around process to re-run the report. Workaround process is open blank excel workbook and then run the report. We also noticed that the excel process is using a lot of memory which does happen with larger data.

She's just trying to run an add-in report and the numbers don't always update. Seems to be tied to big data files, but not drill down related.

Thanks Eric!!! If we get an answer, maybe you can use this example at your MOTM 2014 SI session.
