Another example of Sage not having their act together. My call to Sage HRMS support today: Me My customer wants to upgrade Sage 100 to 2017, but the compatibility matrix says Sage 100 2017 is not compatible with HRMS 2017. Why is this? Sage Well you know support for versions other than HRMS 2017 is being discontinued September 2017, right? Me Really, how can you discontinue support for my customers that link Sage 100 Payroll to Sage HRMS when they can't upgrade to HRMS 2017? Sage let me check this for you. (on hold for 25 minutes) Sage Turns out HRMS 2017 was released after the Compatibility Matrix was issued on April 18, 2017. Don't know why the compatibility matrix wasn't updated. Sage HRMS 2017 is 100% compatible with Sage 100 2017. Good to know! Now I wonder if the Matrix will get updated! Any bets?

Perhaps we should create a 90 Minds branded sock puppet and distribute them to Sage, so the right and left hands can communicate.

At least you got further than me. I asked the other day and they said they didn't know and wouldn't even pursue it so it's good to know that it's compatible!

I called HRMS support, not Sage 100. For right now at least, HRMS support is still in St. Pete. James was on the phone with me for an hour researching and then talking with others to get the answer.

I was talking to HRMS support and they were giving me the 'I have no idea' line.

I must have won the support lottery today! It all depends on who answers your call.
