And here's what I spent 15 minutes typing before Socialcast wouldn't let me share it. TL;DR = I think this is pricy for one person but maybe we have enough in the group to justify subscribing. Can you find any licensing that might prohibit 90 Minds from subscribing and allowing members who blog to use images? http://www.shutterstock.com/subscribe.mhtml

Too bad I didn't know you were looking for this. There was an awesome $60 deal with Appsumo for 150 stock photos of any resolution via www.depositphotos.com Good stuff but the deal expired. The problem with sharing is I get their license agreement would only allow 90minds to use the photos, not all these unrelated legal entities. Once you get tagged using an unlicensed image (and they have web crawlers running all day), they'll basically send you a legal letter that forces you to pay like 10x retail or decide to go to court over the image so its definitely a bad idea. I get the feeling they are more lax on casual blogs using an image vs. primary websites but I'm not sure.

I would absolutely love a subscription to a full service like this for blog photos. Like Mark wrote though ... we would want to make sure it's all legal-like.

Wonder if they would cut us a deal as a non-profit membership group. I'll ask them. I'm not terribly open to a lot higher priced service than this so they'd have to be really flexible on their licensing.

I sent them an email to ask what the restrictions are. Can't hurt to ask. Sadly I'll probably have to wade through some 20 minute corporate sales pitch but here's hoping they can answer yes or no via email reply.

What about the fact that we would have the license under 90 Minds but might use the images at our individual corporate sites?

I'm asking them - to me it seems like a web designer licensing these might use across several domains but I see what Mark's saying. It seems like their license terms might restrict use to just 90 Minds. We'll see.

I'm betting it's like Sage. you can run as many companies as you want...as long as they all have the same ownership.

I received a reply from Shutterstock - I'm going to start a separate message to discuss.
