Sage 100

An existing Sage 100 Premium v2017 has UDF fields and asked that I add some UDFs to a panel. I'm getting a The PNL_CMNEW_1 panel cannot be customized. The MD thinks that it's just regular Sage permissions. I'm not so sure since I can add/change other panels but just not the one that I have a hunch the MD may have customized. Do you know if customizations to program code can cause this ""panel cannot be customized""? Or should I look elsewhere for the cause?

There is a tag that can be set to prevent screen customizations including UDFs although it seems odd it would apply only to PNL_CMNEW_1. Sage sets this tag themselves to prevent all Library Master screens from being customized. So if you can attach (or email me separately) the actual M4L file pertaining to the screen where you are trying to add the UDFs, I can see if that tag is set.

I'll look for that file. The panel is actually an additional tab which they added to the Item Maintenance
