    Just got an email that started like this:

    "Hi Beth, we really screwed up..

     We reinitialized some data files per Sage support recommendation. It did not go as planned and we ended up wiping out most of our AR and IM history. I did create a backup before doing this (I often don't, but this rep seemed very unsure of his recommendations).

    Today, I replaced about 9 individual files (All AR and IM history files) instead of restoring the entire XXX company or MAS90 folder. "

    Thanks for Sharing. At least they admitted what happened rather than just emailing you to say "somethings wrong with my history"

    Here is my latest Sage sales lead.

    Support had a call from Josh M. inquiring about Alerts and Workflow.  Would you be able to follow up with him and let me know if there is an opportunity?

    Called client, talked to Josh's boss.  Santa received a new workstation.  Josh installed the Sage client.  Santa encountered the normal paperless printer activation error when the client is not installed properly.  Josh called support and support resolved the problem.  No one recalls any mention of Sage Alerts........

    Lead closed.

    That’s ok. I get emails “ ( customer ) called support and wanted info about a product add-on. Not sure what the product add-on was. Please follow up”

    So, Sage fixed the typo within their Excel macro which calculates all their renewals?
