Am I misunderstanding this pricing or does a full license for Sage Financials (formerly Sage Live) now require both a Sage license ($130/mo) plus a Salesforce Enterprise ($150/mo)? I also noticed that effective June 1, 2018, Sage went up 20% on Sage Financials licenses.

I believe the customer receives one (1) Salesforce Enterprise license when they purchase the Starter Pack or the Full User Pack. This is the first time I have seen this document, but in Section 5.1.1 it states, ""Financials is sold with the Enterprise Edition"", and in Section 5.1.3 it states, ""When we sell Financials, we provide one Salesforce license (this does not limit the ability to have Financials Administrators). This license type is utilised to modify everything in Salesforce including Financials but not limited to. Some clients will have this type of license already if they are using Salesforce."" I read that as - you get one Salesforce Enterprise Edition when you purchase Sage Financials. If you want more Salesforce Enterprise licenses, you must purchase them separately. That is my understanding.

Interesting. Probably can't do too much without also having a SF license for any additional users. At least we aren't the only product line seeing steep price hikes.

What happens when you run out of room to raise prices every year 10-20%?

    You begin trimming reseller commissions.
