Am I missing something (Answer: Yeah probably)... Customer using Sales Order has an order where some lines backorder. Subsequently they get enough in to fulfill the backorders. Says that the SO still says backorder for those lines. Is this a rebuild sorts? Otherwise when you try to invoice everything you have to go manually to each line and tell it to ship or change its status.

I don't think anything changes those lines, except maybe a DSD enhancement.

Customer swears they ""used to be able to ship complete"" including the backorders.

It prompts you to ship complete but it does not ship backordered lines. Has that changed? I don't have an older version to test.

Actually, it will ship backordered lines IF the order itself is a backorder TYPE order. If the lines were backordered on a standard order, they will not ship. If they were backordered as part of creating a backordered order, they will ship.

One of my clients automatically backorders the NEW sales order so that when items are processed in receiving, the back order fill report displays all items. They are a made to order shop so they usually had to order everything. I don't think anything has changed although there is certainly room for improvement. Maybe v2013 release......
