Am I missing a trick here or do the custom screens not update to 4.4 all that well -- or perhaps not at all. I have a client on 4.3 SU 21 where I'm upgrading to 4.4 PU4. They've customized their panels in sales order entry - but nothing seems to convert. There are labels in different places on the screens -- things seem jumbled. I did the standard: - Right click the desktop and reset panel - Go into Custom Office and update panels Neither really seemed to do anything in terms of cleaning up the screens. Most of my client's have had maybe one or two field modifications on their screens and those are fairly simple to tweak. Did I miss an upgrade step? #customoffice

The screens did change somewhat between 4.3 and 4.4; I've had to move a few things around even after updating panels.

Seen it before. All part of the upgrade experience. I do print screens before I begin and compare afterwards.

Thanks. I am seeing weird stuff like the descriptive label is changed -- yet when I click on the label it shows the updated description. Save it and both the new label text and the original text print over each other. I'm guessing that this is just going to be a re-implementation of custom screens.

I further take it that there's not a way to export screen customizations? I see that I can export most everything else (UDF, UDT) -- but looks like I'm on my own for customized screens.

Also appears that some fields cannot be pulled out of their ""Region"" into another group. I don't remember that as a restriction previously. I'm getting some quirky ""Screen error"" when I try to go into the data entry field. When I move the field back to the general location (group) the error goes away.

Had a client on 4.40 recently who could not refresh and get the new fields I had added to the lines tab of Shipping Data Entry. Other people could, but not him. I had to go into the system file that holds screen customization by user and delete his. Then the next time he went in, it showed the latest stuff. Just throwing that out there...
