Am I correct to assume that a parallel install of MAS200 for upgrading 4.3 to 4.5 cannot be on the same server? The last time I upgraded them I did it on the same server and they were able to work on both versions.

You can install multiple versions of MAS 200 on the same server, just need to be different ports.

I may have missed posts about this, but how are folks handling the issues with Crystal 10 and 11.5 at the workstations when upgrading to 4.4 or 4.5 from 4.3 or lower?

There have been some issues if you are running them at the same time. (during testing) At least from 4.3 to 4.4. We have some weird issue with the data directory location on the 4.4 changing to the 4.3 and converting 4.3 data. Be careful!! ( and run extra backups!! )

I seem to be running into issues with incompatible versions of the CRPE32.DLL which is loaded in the ""common"" folder on the workstation. For some insane reason I thought we had moved beyond the issues with differing versions of Crystal when version 8.5 came into use. The Sage KB article says to not install Crystal 10 and 11.5 on the same machine. How are we expected to upgrade and test? I still feel like I must be missing something.

On occasion I would run into that I would get the ""incorrect version is installed. Rerun workstation set up"" message. Rerunning workstation set up for that version of MAS (usually the lower one) resolved it. Reread your post, are you actuall installing Crystal on the workstation or just having issues printing Crystal reports? If so, just go with 11.5. I've never encountered an issue using a v11.5 level form in v4.3.

I've got 8.5, 10, & 11.5 on my laptop, and other than having to run wksetup occasionally I don't have any issues.

I did a WS setup and it installed Crystal without any prompts from me. Z

Likewise, I have multiple versions of Crystal. You will occasioally need to rerun WKSETP on a workstation running two versions of MAS200 at the same time. I

I have several versions as well and I find that the last version installed is the one MAS looks too so I sometimes have to manually open the form I want to edit in the right version (the ""edit form"" or ""designer"" buttons don't work or are not there) but overall I don't have much issue.

I have 8.5, 10 and 11.5 installed on my computer as well with no real issues. I keep having challenges with the runtime version of Crystal on workstations after installing the client for 4.5.
