Alternative to InSynch?

Have a client who is 4 months behind on their upgrade because InSynch is being very unresponsive to updating their integration.

Anybody know of a reliable web integration alternative for Sage 100?  They have a custom built ecommerce website (that isn't going to change) so it needs to be someone that can handle that scenario

I think eBridge has something similar to insynch. I never used them but I remember calling them once when looking for a similar solution.

Try @Craig Jacobs from Clearnine, I think he was heavily involved in the original InSync code & knows the alternatives.

That's interesting.  American Eagle's main office is on Northwest Highway in Park Ridge, a Chicago suburb not far from my house.  I know several people that work at the CPA firm of American Eagle.

There are a few options for connectors for off the shelf shopping carts but limited options for custom.  You may ask True Commerce or CimCloud. Not endorsing either of them.

If you are looking for something more like an API we have SDE which can be JSON or XML.
     https://wiki.mbabsi.com/doku.php/enhancements/sage100/modules/cs100e-sde
click on the Demo to try out the API. This is not a Syncing product. It is an API that communicates real time.

If you want to have your connection to Sage more managed, then CIMCLOUD would be a good option since they monitor the sync and have a lot of things in the background making sure it all works. Then your site would just interact with their API to the data on their servers. So this gives you best of both worlds where you have an API to interface and your data is synced.

Do these API calls reinforce business logic, or are they basically just writing to the tables?

Actually, was just reading the website and it looks like it's primarily for masterfile data?  Not transactions? (ie orders, cash receipts?)

    Mark,

SDE handles both master files and transaction files because SDE engages the business objects. If you go to the Wiki, under SDE / Developers, select Resources. You can create a Resource for Sales Orders, A/R or S/O invoices, or Cash Receipts.

If you go to the SDE Demo site (Click on the Wiki link again and click Demo Site), you can run a demo for yourself under API Demo. Select the Sales Orders Resource and click Post. All the Sales Orders on file are returned, header and lines. You can filter to just get one (or more) orders.

You can post back on the website, but only the Bill To Name. A simple example for the site. If you want a more detailed demo, seeing both sides of the transaction (Using Fiddler), shoot me an email.
