Sage 100

I just received this Altec invitation for a May 18, 2023 webinar  (Link) , and it caught my eye because: 

1. I have a customer who purchased Altec about three years ago and they seem very happy
2. This meeting is only 30 minutes
3. The agenda is precisely the type of TL;DR type content I like to see

I signed up and am going to try to attend. If not, I'll get the recording and summarize the answers to the agenda items.

Note I do NOT find that I make much money with Altec as they have at least three components to their price ( Sage License (commissionable), Maintenance, Services ). I believe only the first portion - the Sage License - is the part they pay $ on.  I think this is a potential hot topic for customers are so many have seen the impact of WFH, and even if they are not still working from home, they have started to think about the benefit of an entirely paperless solution.

Upgrading Altec was pretty easy as they only needed a few Custom Office scripts and some screen enhancements loaded. Everything else was external to Sage and handled by Altec.

This can be pricey. However, I think it's a good idea to understand what the solution does and what it costs (approximately) so we can talk intelligently to customers.

Just an FYI ( they are not a sponsor), other than them calling and wanting to meet me for lunch when they were in town last month ( which I declined ), I don't have any ongoing relationship with them.
