I had lunch today with Laura Lechien and Linda Turner from Altec. I talked up the value of 90 Minds. I don't think Altec is an affiliate ( stop reading now if I'm mistaken).
I suggested that they talk to Kevin Dudevoir about options for becoming affiliate members.
I think there should be someone ( not a committee ) tasked with recruiting and managing the ISVs and that person would be compensated a percentage of renewing and new revenues for managing these relationships. This is somewhat similar to what Peter used to do although he primarily did call outs for sales and not much servicing once the affiliate joined.
The person could have responsibility for:
- Making sure the affiliates are getting the most value from their membership
- Recruiting and retaining affiliates
- Assist with getting the affiliates set for MOTM and making sure they know sponsor options and what they include or don't include
Again, if this has already been discussed and is underway and this can just act as an update of my conversation with Altec
