This is hard to demonstrate as it does not require much end user interaction.  Demo how to set up an alert?  Snoozer unless you are demonstrating how to set up an alert to a techie.  I prefer to discuss the end result - Reports every Monday AM sent to the sales team, low inventory reports sent to purchasing and shop floor control.  Dashboard reports sent to upper management.  Checks in excess of $xxx sent to the CFO/CEO.  Nightly Inv on hand reports uploaded to Amazon/Lowes/Home Depot.  Focus on what information would benefit management.

I don't sell this anymore because there are cheaper alternatives. In most cases I suggest customers investigate Visual Cut. In cases where customers ask about Alerts & Workflows it's frequently because of a Sage mailing which in many ( but not all ) cases might not mention price.

I also find that my customers have this odd belief that they'll pay Sage their $$$ for the product and I'll work at no cost to create whatever functionality was promised in the mailer.  I see very similar type of customer beliefs with other Sage add-ons and I recommend creating the proper understanding with the customer that your services for any installation, debugging, troubleshooting start at $x.
