ALE search is slow over a network when looking up an Item by description in Sale Order in Sage 100 Standard.
Note: Support able to replicate with large inventory.
Must run this process across network
1. Open Sales Order > Main > Sales Order Entry
2. Select Next Order No
3. Select any customer and go to Lines tab#3
4. Click Item Lookup
5. Change Search to Description
6. Operand = Begins with
7. Enter BIO for the search string and click on Find
Notice it takes over 10 seconds to complete search. The Same search at the server takes less than 2 seconds. The same search in Inventory Maint across the network takes about 2 seconds.
