  • 1.  After Windows update, XLSX will not launch from a SOE Line script

    Background:  Sage 100 2016 Standard.  Customized SO Lines panel has a UDF with a script to launch an XLS or XLSX file if the Item#'d file is found in a specified URL path directory.  
    Situation:  After W10 1809 update, only the XLS file launches.  If a XLSX file, SOE Task closes with no message.  All other workstations that did not install the W10 1809 update continue to work normally.
    Other findings:  Launching the script outside of SOE opens both file types.  User has full control permissions to the folder.  
    Ideas?

    I reported a similar issue here last week.  Xlxs files cannot be attached to memos in Sage 100 when the workstation has Win 10 version 1809 installed.  This also affects DSD instadocs and .docx attachments.
