    After upgrading to MAS 90 4.50 from 4.30, client is getting ""Error 12 PL_Commonut Line 2726"" when trying to print Payroll Check Register. Any ideas?

    I think this is probably paperless office related. Have you checked the printer port for the Sage paperless printer to be sure it is set to ""sage"" and not LPT1

    If it is a paperless issue, it should be blowing up for every report.

    This might be the same error I was getting when they had me rename crpe32.dll from the system32 folder of windows and that fixed it.

    The issue is only with the Payroll Check Register. I will check the paperless printer. Kate, did you rename and then replace the crpe32.dll in system32 folder? Thanks

    I renamed it in the system32 folder and then made sure it existed in the common components folder on the c drive. I'm not sure the complete path and I'm not in the office so maybe someone else can help me out with the full path of the current crpr32.dll

    That file is in the \WINDOWS\system32\ and in C:\program files\business objects\common\3.5\bin.

    When I went to preview the Check Register, it was already updated. It does not appear in Paperless Viewer, but the entries from the check register are updated to the employees and reports appear fine. The Daily Transaction Register did print to PDF.

    FWIW -- not sure this is related but I had a user within the last week where the \MAS90\Lock folder for the company had to be renamed. Symptom was that the paperless would not do anything (no error) but would sit at a prompt ""Do you want to update"". From there they could update. I renamed the \mas90\lock\_xxx where xxx = company code. May not be related at all but the posting of registers without a PDF jarred my memory and I figured I'd chime in.
