    Source ( 2/24/2025 ) - Important Update on Upcoming Patches for Sage CRM

    Issue: Sage CRM's integration with Microsoft Exchange Online is experiencing problems because Microsoft is removing a feature in Exchange Online.

    Who's Impacted: Users of Sage CRM with Microsoft Exchange Online. If you use Sage CRM with Microsoft Exchange On-Premise, you're not affected.

    Why: Microsoft is removing the Application Impersonation role in Exchange Online. Sage CRM needs to transition from Microsoft Exchange Web Services (EWS) to Microsoft Graph API, which is complex.

    When Will It Be Fixed: Patches may not be available before the end of February 2025. The patches will apply to:

    • Sage CRM 2022 R1 and R2 – Patch 2022 R2.6
    • Sage CRM 2023 R1 and R2 – Patch 2023 R2.4
    • Sage CRM 2024 R1 and R2 – Patch 2024 R2.1

    For customers implementing a new Sage CRM integration with Microsoft Exchange Online, we recommend holding off until the patches are available.
