    Advanced V2016. I'm so confused! Sales Order History Header, looking at User Created Keys (along with Date created). There are approximately 75 orders for Jan & 75 for Feb with Created Date of 1/16/18 and Created Key of Me (as User BLC). However, and here is where it gets weird, the Order Dates range from 1/1/18 to 2/28/18. In essence I created these some of these records before the users created the orders. How does that work? I looked at my time history on this client and I did some work with exporting Item Descriptions from a backup company, importing Item Descriptions to the Live Company. Didn't touch Sales Order History via the imports. I possibly ran the 'purge obsolete extended descriptions' utility but don't have a time history record for this and don't see anything in the Activity Log for this. The customer is trying to track who created Orders/Quotes and I created the most! Help!

    Could someone possibly be logging in as you? Change your password and see what happens.

    I'm also wondering if the VI job considers Sales Order History to be a mirror file for your import.

    It had to be something that happened that day as I'm pretty sure all these orders have a created date of 1/16/18.

    Good idea or did a custom office update to a sales order screen/udf cause this?

    System activity log should show logins and any VI job activity. I'd look there for clues.

    Upgrade to 2016 was mid 2016 or so, so that's not it. Activity Log doesn't have anything. If a VI Job or Custom Office Update of UDF causes the 'created by' person and date to change, that's a big integrity problem.

    Any enhancements / plug-ins? It could be a program pushing orders in (without a UI) using your login, and without you logging in the module date for your ID doesn't change (leaving it at the 16th). I'd think the system date would be used for Date Created, but stranger things have happened.

    Good Suggestion Kevin. No enhancements to push orders in. They do have CRM and I'm going to check with our CRM Consultant to see if he worked on their system that night, but I doubt it as we try to coordinate and I was doing the Description Export/Imports.

    Perhaps the orders are pushed from CRM?

    I'll verify but I don't think so. They just started using CRM at end of December and not everyone was using it yet. There has been no talk of pushing orders from CRM to Sage in bulk or even singles on a regular basis.

    I have an integration where I had to schedule a stop/restart the service every night otherwise the sales orders all got created with a date equal to when the service started.
