  • 1.  Add UDF to Selection Grid

    Customer is on 2018.3

    I'm trying to add a UDF so that it shows up in the Customer Listing Report

    I've successfully done this on my 2018.4 system by flowing the UDF from AR_CUSTOMER to AR_CustomerListingWRK

    The UDF shows ( on my system ) in the selection grid

    For some reason it's not happening on this customer's system and I can't figure out why

    Any thoughts?

    I followed the instructions but seems like this may be an unsolved mystery to Sage?

    I checked/unchecked the "exclude from report selection" on the UDF - after that, it appeared. I can't say for sure that this was what fixed it. The combination of rebuilding the UDF file may also have done something. Seems glitchy but I finally got the UDF to appear in the selection grid.

    You might try a Verify Database on the Crystal report.

    I did the verify database, add the field to the report, login and out of Sage. It seems a bit hit/miss and from what I can tell only resolved when I checked and unchecked the exclude from report select on the UDF screen. All the while rebuilding UDF after each change.
