  • 1.  Add new module not on 100C

    Hello. I got a quote from Sage for a client that might want RMA and i can't remember if Sage is shutting down all new modules sales at end of Feb unless they are 100C - is that true?
    The quote says nothing about that but, I don't trust Sage on screwing this up . I can see the client saying yes in March and Sage saying ok and giving me unlocking keys for Sage 100C not Sage100.
     Thoughts !

    RMA included in the 100c Complete bundle.  If so, this might be a reason to move to the "cloud" now if they have all of the other modules

    I would say that you're very wise to be leery of a quote from Sage - I could certainly see them "upgrading" the client to Sage 100cloud.

    In the meantime, I haven't seen anything published that Sage won't sell perpetual users or modules to existing perpetual clients in the future.  That doesn't mean that they won't (See?  It's that trust thing!), it just means we haven't seen anything that says that.   And - quite frankly - that would be cutting off their nose to spite their face if they did.  However, stranger things have happened...
