The 2025 Acumatica Summit keynote buzzword was performance. John Case gave a fairly standard keynote that emphasized the importance of ERP systems for business growth and highlighted AI, strategic partnerships, and customer stories. According to Acumatica the event drew over 3,500 attendees (this seems accurate). Nothing super new to see here.
Strategic partnerships with ADP and Shopify were announced (is there an ERP that doesn't have these alliances? ) , focusing on payroll, human capital management, and e-commerce integration. AI was shown because, well, you can't hae a demo without AI. What was shown wasn't shipping. I'm sure there will be changes before it ships.
Customer success stories from Eastman Music Company (Customer of the Year) and Republic Services (Impact Customer Of The Year) illustrated the practical benefits of Acumatica's ERP system. Sustainability efforts were recognized with Republic Services named Impact Customer of the Year.
I found it unusual that VARS like SWK and Blytheco who were prior year award winners ( SWK was partner of the year last year) didn't even get onto the award scoreboard this year. Every time I mention this to someone they look at me as if I'm completely crazy to think this is odd.
The 2026 Summit location was announced as Seattle, Washington, due to community growth. My guess is the reason the show is moving is that a five year contract with Wynn ran out, people complained about walking 15,000 steps to get to the conference and spending $$ to go anywhere to eat on their own.
For the second year in a row Acumatica declined to provide a count of active customers. Their last count was 10,000 which they provided in a blog post in 2023. I'm starting to think this is a sign of Acumatica becoming more of a traditional mature ERP publisher and less of a young aggressive startup.
The company announced
50 new VARS
100 new partners ( ISV , alliance, etc )
Alliance program introduced (and they introduced another program last year and one the year before - I have trouble keeping track of them..)
New board members - Nancy Harris and Zach Nelson
