Acumatica partner deal signed. First Acumatica deal closed (before our internal migration). Looking forward to many more.

Congratulations on your inaugural sale! The first one is always the hardest.

Thanks, everyone. If that's the case, @ShawnSlavin , we're in great shape.

Can you provide a brief overview of the client and why they chose Acumatica?

@BobPfahnl - This is a membership management organization with an industry-specific front end. We provided Sage 100 ERP for GL and AP (starting in 1992). There is a good chance the rest of this will sound familiar. The customer grew tired of spending more and more money (M&S) for the same product plus the money to upgrade to maintain compatibility. Two years ago, their servers were moved to a hosted environment and the move to Acumatica (SaaS) means one less element to manage and no more version upgrades.

@BrianRice I assume you sold the Standard version of Acumatica rather than Advanced? I also assume based upon your notes that this is a core accounting only environment. If so, I'm even more jealous. It's a great initial project to learn a new product.

The Bingo, @ShawnSlavin: Standard, core accounting, SaaS license. This is someone we've worked with for years and (I am grateful) they were comfortable with our lack of experience on the product. The gears are turning on a couple of others that I expect to follow our own migration.

All the ducks you need in the right order to knock out your first sale of a new product. Well done!
