    How do I update the forms list?  It seems I am in demo mode.  I have tried clicking Activate and nothing changes.  I have also tried clicking Update, and Activate in LM, Setup, System Configuration.

    Those are 2 different issues.  The DEMO mode thing is one issue that may take modifying a system file if all else fails.  Getting the new forms involves picking one you have right now and clicking Next until it asks if you want to update.  Say Yes, then after updating, get out and back in and you will have your new forms.

    Ronnie Aspe has done some testing/investigation into this 'stuck in Demo Mode' issue.  He found if .Net3.5 is not enabled on the server and workstation, it causes problems.  I have had a customer stuck for about 1 year or 18 months and found .Net3.5 was not enabled on the server.  Installed it via Features and it came out of Demo Mode.  
    So you can modify the forms as the workaround, but for a permanent solution, you may want to look at the .Net3.5 issue.

    Thanks Nancy!  I just looked in the registry on the server and .net 3.5 is not installed.  I'm going to lay this on IT's desk for now.

    Can you elaborate on modifying the system file?  I have also tried mas90 mode without success.

    I am able to update forms now.  Thanks Beth for getting me on the right track.  For the record:  Pick any old form click proceed then when the form appears, click "Tools" at the top of the form then click "Update Forms".

    Or just generate the form and the program checks for any updates automatically.  As far as the system table workaround, Sage published a hotfix to fix the issue.

    Thanks Wayne.  Do you know what this means?:  "The Date will have to be copy and pasted in as those keys don't exist on the Keyboard. "

    Nope. In all cases, I just typed in the date and it worked. Not sure what Sage is talking about with "keys don't exist on the keyboard".

    Somewhere in one of the KB's, there is a discussion about taking YOUR system table and just dripping it over the clients.  Short term bullet dodging.

    @Jeff Schwenk I tried the table swap but for some reason, it did not work. It might be because the expiration date in the saved file SY_FormseFilingVersion.M4T isn't updated for 2019+. Changing the date is pretty easy and once I figured out that it seemed to be the solution for most of the issues I just started automatically DFDM the date and things were back on course.

    What date are you using?  The date is in encrypted format.   Does it matter what the date is?  I copied the date from my 2017 laptop installation to the SYS record of the client 2018 installation and it still doesn't work.  I have the client IT people installing .NET35 sometime soon.
