Setting up AP ACH for Centier Bank in Crown Point Indiana. ACH Batch Header Record (The 2nd line in the ACH file). The bank doesn't want the slashes in the Entry Description field. The Entry Description is in fields 54-63 and follows the "PPD" Standard Entry Class Code. Is there any way to get rid of the slashes other than manually modifying the file.
There are two more dates without slashes immediately following the Entry Description: Fields 64-69 and fields 70-75. The bank wants fields 64-69 to be blank.
