According to the Release Notes (and my Tax Table print outs) for the Tax Table Changes between 2018 and 2019 - the only thing that today's release of the Tax Table update has in it are the new FICA Limits and the new State UI Limits. The individual tables are all identical to the 2018 tables. I read online that last Thursday, the IRS released new Tax Tables for 2019 - but I do not believe they are included in the TTU release that Sage gave to us today. Has anyone heard that there will indeed be another update to the Tax Tables for 2019 that will change those tables?

Soon???? I think Sage was hell bent on releasing on the 19th. Like all past TTU's, there have been several releases early on as Sage got to them. Just another reason to move everyone to the new PR.........

New Update from Diane Coffman: ""With a late release from the feds we couldn't get them in and tested in time to make this deployment and TTU. We will have another release on December 27th that will include the federal changes and any others that come in. "" Just a heads up that you might want to wait to install the 2019 TTU's until after Christmas, when Sage will have the Table Changes in there, and not just the State UI and FICA Limit Changes...

The IRS released the rates on 11/15, which seems early. How much time do they need? Just plug in ranges and percentages - how hard could that be?

Last year Q1 2018 the Dec release did not include federal withholding update, the January 26 update indicates that the federal tax tables and dependent exemptions were updated. So there is some precedent however each year has a slightly different set of tax changes which may mean the governments releases faster or slower. https://support.na.sage.com/selfservice/viewdocument.do?noCount=true&externalId=88047&sliceId=1&isLoadPublishedVer=&docType=kc&docTypeID=DT_DOWNLOAD_1&stateId=13603&cmd=displayKC&dialogID=492200&ViewedDocsListHelper=com.kanisa.apps.common.BaseViewedDocsListHelperImpl&openedFromSearchResults=true

Last year, I remember that the President announced in late December there would be tax changes for 2018, so more moola could go into the hands of taxpayers. But those changes were not made until January, so it makes sense that Sage would have to release a tax update in January. And some states really lagged behind in their releases, based on the Fed's release, so several more updates for various states followed. But for this year: I agree with @JohnHoyt - it does look like the Feds updated their tax tables in November , so I'm not sure why the tables in the Dec 19th release didn't have those...maybe because there was going to be another update mid December?
