Accessing MAS through a Remote App. It seems when accessing the program through a remote application, the Sage PDF Converter Printer is not accessible. The printer is installed on the terminal server. Since the MAS workstation is not installed on the user's computer, it seems the Sage PDF Converter will not install. Any ideas on how to get this to work?

What do you mean by remote app? Are you running a remote desktop to a terminal server?

Its not a remote desktop, just 1 app that is remote. see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc730673(v=ws.10).aspx

Ahh, gotcha! The MAS still has to be installed on the terminal server properly for the RemoteApp connection to work. The Sage PDF Converter can be installed and properly configured by the system administrator. Do you know who set it up and distributed it to your user?

Yes their IT department. I believe it is installed and working properly on the terminal server. Do you know what settings the Remote App setup needs to have for it to work properly?

Sorry, not specifically no. We have a few clients using it or something similar and there hasn't been an issue. Work station setup just creates it.

It may help to run MAS from a terminal server session and see if the PDF Converter is there.

We have a client who uses this and it all works just fine. Regarding the 'workstation setups' do you know, did the IT dept roll out the .msi installer? That is what we had setup, the user clicks on the MAS Icon and it launches the RDP session in the background then renders the screens on your Win7 PC's. That said, the PDF and all other pieces need to be fully working on that Terminal Server. Also agree, test in a native Terminal session that @JohnBroadfoot suggests.
