Access Sage 100 from iPad, iPhone, Android or MAC We discovered a program (at least new to us) that will allow us to run any program on the server, or in our test case a Windows 10 desktop, from any of these devices concurrently with other users. Everything you can do on your desktop, you can do on your remote device. Enter a Sales Order remotely in real time for example. Scan inventory with Bluetooth scanner. Takes 15 minutes to setup. And you can print without installing Print drivers. For up to 10 Users the cost is $490 each plus 17% Maintenance. For the heavy users there is Unlimited pricing. They have a 15 day free trial. www.tsplus.net.

BIG QUESTION. Is it supported by Sage? Our primary concern for our customers is that the environment is 100% Sage-Friendly for the rather expensive support that they charge. The only offset is to RDS CALS and or including CITRIX Licensing. For example, 10 MS RDS users cost about 50$/month. Some limitations? Yes. Enough to void warranty or support? No.

@RobertEppele Isn't there an access program similar to this on AWS?

We had a customer try a 3rd party remote app platform (2X) not on the SPM. They had to abandon it due to random errors, and issues with Paperless Office.

    J. Not specifically. There is 1 possibly non-supported mechanism. **WorkSpaces**. This is a fantastic rapid deployment alternative to full desktops (think VMware Desktop). So this Workspace (full desktop view) can connect to the back end of EC2 instances (servers). But don't try this for your customers.

    K. Exactly my point. We've resolved all printing, scanning and paperless issues and within the supported matrix. **[Hosting services like ours](https://www.gotomyerp.com/sage-100-cloud)** have matured to the point where these issues become less problematic for everyone.

No the big question is have you tried it? it's smart to question but it's disingenuous to knock a product that could be helpful to a lot of people and a revenue booster for the dealer and then promote your own services . Most companies hosting Sage charge $50 per user per month, or more. TSPlus is a one time $490 and an annual maintenance of $83. NO CITRIX OR MICROSOFT REMOTE DESKTOP LICENSES NEEDED - just an internet connection. For an Owner or traveling salesperson who wants to check his Customers records, check inventory levels or even place a Sales Order in real time or run reports, this is a bargain. And you can log into any other program on the computer; you are not limited to just Sage. Not too long ago, a number of dealers were looking for ways to make Sage 100 backward compatible with older servers. We all know that many of us installed Sage 100 on Customer's Windows 10 workstations long before Windows 10 was certified by Sage. And Thousands of Users, I would think, already use Remote Desktop to access their Sage 100 from home, remote office or hotel. Sage doesn't care. With TSPlus you can do the same thing from a device. Try it or not, in two days on Black Friday there are going to be a lot of retail Customers placing orders and price lookups on iPads, Android and Surface tablets as they work the aisles trying to accommodate the mob.

@HaroldWestover I reviewed this with our firm IT Director, just to make sure I had not just gulped some Kool-Aid, and he and I agreed this sounds very promising. We plan to try the 15-day trial for testing in about 2 weeks when I have some time to devote to it. Thanks!

@HaroldWestover Am I also correct that you can access using a desktop (old or new OS) rather than dealing with the complexities of RDP and various VPN devices? What is the security like?

Hey Harold. Yes. We sample all products similar to this so we know what's going on in the ecosphere and what we can do to enhance our services. It's not a knock, we just can't use it and be in compliance with sage's current supported matrix if something happens to go, not so well. **You're right in your statement about backward compatibility** and this is where our service would begin to diverge. I get your thought and it's certainly a niche. For most hosting providers who supply remote hands on sage, like we do, it costs to much to hire that legacy talent. Also we would rather the client be on currently supported platform so that for our sage reseller's they can continue to earn their tier.
