Sage 100

AboutTime Time and Attendance application. We have a client who is a Concrete Finishing and Pumping contractor that uses this application to get time to Sage 100 Payroll. Time is entered on the job site into phones (18 foremen). From the Phone, it is transmitted to the AboutTime application at the office. A file is created which is imported to Payroll via Visual Integrator. The client reports that data is being entered into the phones fine but transmission to the office seems to regularly loose records. The payroll person has to call virtually every format to confirm that things are right. When something is missing, most of the time, the forman can look at his phone and read her the data. She indicates AboutTime Product support always makes her feel like the worlds biggest idiot and she nolonger calls them or has anything positive to say about AboutTime. Has anyone else had experience (Positive or Negative) with the AboutTime company or product? Is anyone familiar with a similar product they like that would meet this client's need?

I have a client that is in the construction business. They have installers that are at job sites and have to record the job number and the time in and out of the job. They have smart phones that have an app that works well. The software is Time Clock Plus. It is inexpensive. It is web based, so administration is done via a browser. The client creates a download for the date range of the payroll period and imports it into MAS 200 payroll. It updates payroll and job cost. There is another product I looked at for them that will also do the job well. It is Insperity TimeStar. It was a bit more expensive but is a great product. I probably would have chose Insperity TimeStar but they preferred Time Clock Plus so we went with that. If you decide to implement TIme Clock Plus let me know. You can have the payroll VI import I set up.

Might try looking at JCScan. We haven't installed it yet, but I have looked at if for a similar implementation. I think Joe Bisaha is still working on fully building the product out as it's relatively new. www.jdbsg.com/jcscan

Thanks for all the suggestions. One thing AboutTime apparently does is to allow the Foreman to enter time for all his employees and review it all at his phone. Most of what I have seen in my brief look sounded like each employee would have their own device. I need to clarify that.
