  • 1.  Aatrix Update Client fails

    Had one of these yesterday and another today.  Have Local Admin rights.  Permissions?  Anti-virus?

    I received a message recently when installing the forms that the AESCrypto.dll was missing.  By completely uninstalling wksetup then reinstalling, I was able to get the AES.exe file in place (which Sage said was also required) and then copy the AESCrypto.dll file in, and that fixed it.  Your issue sounds a little different but this info could help.

    Just ran into this - tried a million things, finally killed AATRIXUPDATER.exe (I think - it was some AATRIX program) and then it worked

    Client's IT installed MAS90.exe update from Aatrix support and it installed cleanly.  I'm guessing permissions.

    That didn't work for me, but that's how I got the error that the file was in use by that specific AAtrix program.

    IT installed from the MAS90.exe, and life was good.  I'm having the same experience on another client.  I can neither update nor uninstall Aatrix.  Something has access to AATRIXDATA.ASD.  Note:  I have sent IT the KB Susan posted (Thank You!).  We'll see what comes next.

    Had this same message in SAGE 100 STD v2019 on a Windows 2012 server. Waited until everyone was logged off (at night) the server and rebooted the server. Installed Aatrix Tax Form Updates manually using the MAS90.exe file downloaded from Aatrix support. It worked!
